Christmas Gift Extended Returns Policy

At Escape Menswear, we understand the importance of finding the perfect Christmas gift for your loved ones. That's why we are pleased to offer an extended returns period during the festive season.

Our normal returns policy allows for returns within 14 days of receiving your goods. However, for any Christmas gifts purchased between November 11th and December 20th 2024, we have extended the returns period. You now have until January 10th 2025 to organize a return for a refund or exchange.

This extended returns period ensures that you have ample time to assess the suitability of your Christmas gifts. You can shop with confidence knowing that your loved ones have the flexibility to return or exchange their gifts if needed.

Please note that the items to be returned must still meet our standard return of goods policy. They should be in an 'as new' condition, unused, unworn, and unwashed, with their original packaging and tags intact.

If you are unsure about the size, colour, or style of the item you are purchasing as a gift, we recommend keeping the product tags until you are certain that the recipient does not need to return or exchange the item.

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow our standard returns procedure outlined in our Returns Information. Remember to include your full name, address, and contact telephone number, along with your order reference if known.

For your convenience and peace of mind, we recommend using a fully tracked delivery service, such as Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, when returning the items. This ensures that the package is adequately insured for any loss or damage during transit. Please note that you are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of goods to us.

WHAT IF AN ITEM I ORDER IS OUT OF STOCK?

The website stock levels are live and always up to date.

In the unlikely event that an order is placed for an item that is no longer in stock you will be notified by email and are entitled to a full refund. We will make every effort to find you a suitable alternative at this stage, should you wish, or proceed with a refund upon your instruction.

RETURNS INFORMATION

Submit a return request

Click the profile/account icon/link in the store's navigation, or click here.

  1. Log in to your account:
    1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
    2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
    3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
  2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
  3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  4. Select a return reason and add a note for us.
  5. Click Request return.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions (and a return shipping label should the item be faulty). After the product is returned, your refund or exchange will be processed.

RETURN OF GOODS POLICY

We aim process your return within 1 working day of it arriving on our premises.

All returns for a refund must be organised within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Items to be returned must be in an 'as new' condition (unused, unworn and unwashed, complete with their original packaging and tags.)

If you have purchased a product as a gift, please do not discard the product tags until you are sure the item does not need to be returned.

If an exchange is required, please process a new order and follow the returns process for your existing order. This allows us to dispatch the replacement item(s) more efficiently and avoids disappointment if stock levels are low.

You will be required to organise, and pay for the return of goods to us.

Any items returned which do not comply with the return of goods policy will be returned to the customer and will not be accepted for refund until such time that the above conditions are met. This does not affect your statutory rights, and is in compliance of the relevant UK laws.

You are not liable for any postage costs if you were supplied the wrong item, wrong size, wrong colour or if the item is faulty. Full postage fees are applicable to all other returns. You remain responsible for arranging and paying for the return of goods to us.

If you are not liable for postage costs then we will refund the amount paid to return the item(s) to us to the original card used to place your order and you will not be charged postage fees for a replacement.

RETURNS PROCEDURE

  1. Verify that your return meets the criteria in the Return of Goods Policy above.
  2. Complete the Return Request process above.
  3. Once the returned goods have been received, checked and verified, your original payment account will be credited as necessary. 

For your safety it is recommended you use a fully tracked delivery service, such as Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, and ensure the package is adequately insured for any loss or damage while in transit. We are not liable for any return items until they have arrived back with us.

FAULTY GOODS

If goods are returned due to being faulty, a full refund, replacement will be available upon confirmation of the fault, plus the cost of postage and packing (equal to the original postage and packing cost incurred by us, unless proof of postage cost is supplied) and any other costs that have incurred as a direct result of faulty goods being supplied (providing proof is supplied).

REFUNDS

All refunds will be made only to the original card used for the purchase. We aim process your return within 1 working day of it arriving on our premises, which typically takes a bank 3-5 working days to process, but please allow up to 10 days for the refund to credit your account.

CANCELLATION RIGHTS

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days without giving a reason. The 14 days start from the day after you receive the goods.

Please note that although these are commonly accepted standard sizes, the information below is intended as a guideline only as all brands differ.

All measurements refer to actual body measurements, rather than garment measurements.

MEASURING TIPS:

  • Measure over any underwear, and make no extra allowances
  • Don't pull the tape too tight as this will give a false measurement
  • Get someone else to measure you if possible
  • Stand flat on the floor in bare feet

Collar : Around the neck
Chest : Around the fullest part of the chest, usually just under the armpit, and across the shoulder blades
Waist : Around the natural waistline, just above the hip bone
Inside leg : From the top of the inside leg to the length desired
